Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
  2. Present menu options, offer recommendations, and answer questions regarding ingredients and preparation.
  3. Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff swiftly.
  4. Serve dishes to guests, ensuring all items meet the Latitude 44 standard of presentation and excellence.
  5. Manage multiple tables, prioritizing tasks and ensuring all guests receive top-tier service.
  6. Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently, turning challenges into opportunities for enhanced customer satisfaction.
  7. Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure seamless service.
  8. Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring accurate billing and prompt return of change or cards.
  9. Stay informed about the latest menu changes, daily specials, and restaurant promotions.
  10. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a pleasant environment for our guests.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Previous experience as a server in a fine-dining or upscale casual dining establishment preferred.
  2. Strong knowledge of food preparation, ingredients, and presentation standards.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and delivering superior service.
  5. Must be adaptable, open to feedback, and dedicated to continuous personal growth and improvement.
  6. Basic math skills for handling cash and card transactions.
  7. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  8. A passion for food, wine, and creating unforgettable dining experiences.
  9. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
